Overview

Pengy Dive is an iOS arcade game from Shadowshiver, LLC. This policy explains what data the app collects, what Apple may process on our behalf, and what third-party services may collect when ads are shown.

Information Pengy Dive collects directly

Pengy Dive does not directly collect personal information. The app has no accounts, no signups, and no developer-operated server.

Game progress, including high scores, life counts, freeze counts, in-app purchase entitlements, and other gameplay state, is stored locally on your device.

Apple services

Pengy Dive uses Apple services that may process data under Apple's privacy policies and system settings.

• Game Center: Leaderboards, achievements, and matchmaking are provided by Apple Game Center. Shadowshiver, LLC does not see player Apple IDs or Game Center game data.
• In-App Purchases: Purchases are processed through Apple's StoreKit and App Store systems. Payment is handled entirely by Apple. Shadowshiver, LLC does not see your card details or Apple ID.

Third-party advertising

Pengy Dive integrates the Google Mobile Ads SDK, also known as AdMob, to serve banner ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers, including IDFA when permitted and IDFV, coarse usage data, and IP address for serving and measuring ads.

Players who purchase any pack or "Remove Ads" no longer see ads. For those users, Pengy Dive does not call AdMob on subsequent launches.

Tracking and App Tracking Transparency

Pengy Dive uses Apple's AppTrackingTransparency framework where required. You can decline tracking in the iOS system prompt. If you decline, ads may still appear, but they are served as non-personalized ads.

Data Pengy Dive does not collect

Pengy Dive does not collect location, contacts, photos, microphone access, camera access, health data, or account information. The app does not include analytics SDKs such as Firebase Analytics or Mixpanel, and it does not ship with a crash reporter that collects personally identifiable information.

Children's privacy

Pengy Dive is rated 4+ and is not directed at children under 13, though it is appropriate for them. Shadowshiver, LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at info@shadowshiver.com. Because we do not directly collect personal information, there is normally no developer-side personal data for us to delete.

GDPR privacy rights

For users in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Pengy Dive does not directly collect personal data. When ads are shown, Google may process data as described in its privacy and AdMob documentation. Depending on your region, you may be shown consent choices for personalized ads.

You can contact Shadowshiver, LLC at info@shadowshiver.com with privacy questions. For Apple Game Center or App Store purchase data, manage your choices through Apple's settings and privacy tools. For Google ad data, use Google's privacy controls.

California privacy rights

Shadowshiver, LLC does not sell personal information. Pengy Dive does not directly collect personal information from you.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Shadowshiver, LLC does not sell or share personal information as those terms are commonly used under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act. AdMob may process identifiers and ad-related data when ads are shown. You can limit ad tracking through iOS privacy settings and any consent choices shown in the app.

Data retention and deletion

Because Shadowshiver, LLC does not collect personal information directly through Pengy Dive, there is no developer-side personal data to delete. You can clear local game data by uninstalling the app from your device.

Game Center data is managed by Apple. You can manage Game Center information through Apple's Game Center settings and Apple account privacy tools.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above will be updated when changes are made.
